Established in 1968,
Huntington Central Park covers a 356-acre parcel
of land complete with rolling hills, lakes and
wooded areas and is one of the largest city
parks in Southern California. Among the unique
combination of attractions at the park are an
equestrian center, dog park, disc golf course,
45-acre sports complex with baseball and soccer
fields, playhouse, library and cultural center,
Lake Huntington, outdoor amphitheater, adventure
playground and the 18-acre Shipley Nature
Center.
